Slightly brighter day
Well, things are looking a little better today. I still feel pretty down, it’s like I’m losing a family, but I talked to my new boss on the phone today. And she’s willing to work with me, giving me 6am-3pm 3 days a week. It’s not as many hours as I was guaranteed, but it’s only a 2 hour difference, and I’m willing to take a guaranteed 27 hours a week if it’s a consistent shift. That really makes things a little easier. Now I just need to wait until I think my Uncle will be home and then give him a call, see if he can hook me up with a ride home, and maybe even a ride to work on occasion…
So things are looking a bit better. I also got asked out on a date last night, for sometime next week… Course, I’ve known the guy for like 20 years… but he suggested maybe we catch a movie or something, once I kick my cold… And I think it might be kinda fun.
As for Ben… well.. he and I are casually dating. We agreed that we majorly rushed into things at the beginning, got caught up in the excitement and all. So we’re seeing each other, only not exclusively. And I am ok with that.
