Updates: Life is good. Michael and I are friends, first and foremost and the rest is way way on hold. Mainly because I’ve started dating someone else. Who treats me very very well.
Other than that, things are about the same. But I got this in an email today, and because I strongly support women having options to make their own choices, I’m putting it here. http://www.hillaryclinton.com/action/fda/
I don’t agree with everything they say, but I do support giving women a choice in what’s best for them, and offering the pill over the counter is NOT a bad idea. I personally think that the otc option would present another choice, allowing women to do what is best for them and their families.

OTC is an interesting option, but it sort of forgets that there are folks out there like me who had some pretty scary experiences with the Pill includes fainting and prolonged bleeding. Will there be additional medical support available for an OTC option?

No idea… From what I read, this is just the petition to get the FDA to allow it to be an OTC drug. I imagine it has the same risks as the pill, so it’s hands off for me (cause I don’t want another clot), but I think it’s important that this be an option for those who can use it.
